26 Weeks

I have been awful at keeping this thing up and going now that I am actually pregnant, so just as February is ending I thought I better get a post in. Everything has been going great. I am loving pregnancy, virtually no complaints, which has been nice. I figured I went through all my hell before getting pregnant so I think I deserve the smooth sailing now! I am getting a little uncomfortable at work since I have to stand all day long, but I bought a pregnancy belly support band and that is helping. But I am sure that I am going to have to find ways to try to sit a little more at work in the last tri - which is quickly approaching. It will be tricky since we do have to move around a lot at the pharmacy, but hopefully I can work something out.

I have been feeling the little babe moving quite a bit lately, which is nice. It's taken a long time to feel anything from the outside because I found out that I have an anterior placenta, which makes an extra cushion in the front so its a little harder to feel, but now that I am getting bigger its finally coming through to the outside. We still have yet to catch it at the right time so Micah can feel it, I feel like there is never a specific time that the baby is particularly active. My 20 week ultrasound went well, everything looked like it was supposed to! We didn't find out what we are having, as I wanted to have a surprise! Micah is protesting by growing out his beard - because he does want to know, but I just said too bad pal, the baby is in me and I don't want to know! So now I am just hoping that he will have an interview coming up and he will have to shave. :)

I go next week for my glucose test and then I will start going to see my midwife every 2 weeks! That is crazy, I feel like the time is going so fast, which in a way is good, I want to be holding my baby right now!! But also, there is so much to do to prepare for baby that I will take all the time I can get!!
